Oh Christmas Tree!

Saturday Brandon, Addie, and I went out searching for our Christmas tree. We went with our friends Jeremy, Chrissy, and their baby Abby. We had a great time and both found really cute trees. We had hoped to go a little ways up the mountain and find a certain kind of tree, there was more snow than we had thought on the mountain and we had to turn around and go down lower to find our trees. It was a beautiful day and I did not mind driving around for a while looking, the weather was perfect and the snow was really pretty. When we got down lower we hiked around for a while until we found trees we liked. The little girls were really good sports and it was a great day. Later that night we went into Moab for the lights festival. They have a parade at night with floats decorated with Christmas lights and decorations. Addison loved it, when she sees Santa she says Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas. She was clapping and laughing the entire time and waving at the people on the floats. It was really cute. Now our family has officially kicked of the Christmas season and we are excited for the festivities to come!Addison playing in the snow!

Gunner being a good sport and wearing my sweatshirt to stay warm, I thought he would hate it but it didn't seem to bother him at all.
Here it is the perfect tree, Brandon was waiting for a light to shine down on the perfect tree, that didn't happen but we both liked this tree so it won, I told Brandon he watches too many movies! Below is Brandon cutting down the tree!
Family photo with our cute tree!
Our frineds Jeremy, Chrissy, and Abby with thier tree.
Here is the finished product all decorated, I left off some things because I knew they would get taken off and broken by my sweet angel child, I did put a few breakables on the top half of the tree and I know I will be redecorating the tree frequently after Addison takes the ornaments to play! What fun would life be without toddlers?!?

Nothing quite like a freshly cut Christmas tree, but I am puzzled. The first few pics have snow and the last ones have none at all. Wow, what a change in weather from upper to lower levels of the mountain. Have a wonderful holiday Christy.
